Black City Records are pleased to welcome The Dark Arts to the shop from December 2025.

The Dark Arts is a metal art project that aims to explore and delve deeper into the visuals of the genre.

​

In addition to featuring pop-up stalls from some of the country's best up and coming metal artists, there will also be practical workshops that aim to teach you how to conceptualise and create your own visuals for album artwork, fanzines and more.

​

There will be presentations and talks from respected names in the field and helpful guidance and advice for those looking to step into, or progress, their journey into the art of Heavy Metal.
